Despite of the laziness, people always try to improve themselves. They want
to learn something new that will help them stay ahead. People join a gym to
be in good shape. It’s almost natural that “How To” tutorials are the
bestsellers on Amazon.
Desire to become winner
The majority of people have strong competitive instinct. They want to win at
business, games, love, sports, and generally in life. People don’t want to
be called “Loser.”
They want the satisfaction of being the best. This desire causes people to
buy the best books, videos, equipment, get the best service, teacher, tutor
and etc.
Desire to gain a great experience
People want to gain experiences they will recollect for the rest of their
lives. They want to gain educational experiences, and travel experiences.
They want to retain parties, family outings, good movies, barbecues,
vacations, restaurants. They want exciting, relaxing, social, and
entertainment experiences.
The desire to build relationships
People want friends, dates, romance, get married, be connected to other
people, be part of a community, improve their relationships with their
children, and so on. Most people do not want to be alone.
Desire for meaning in life
People always try to find the meaning of their life. People buy religious
tracts, Bibles, and philosophical discourses to find meaning in life. They
attend seminars and join a church. Billions of dollars are spent by people
wanting to find meaning of life.
